Description: Expand your knowledge and take your wet felting to the next level in this intermediate level workshop. Learn various felting techniques such as cracked mud, multiple resists, inclusions, layering, scrunching silk, and using wool yarn as a base. Additional techniques can be explored if students talk to the instructor ahead of time. Each student will have samples they have made to take home.

Prerequisite: Must know how to make a flat piece of felt using the wet felting technique unassisted. Any beginner level wet felting workshop offered by OVWSG.

Students should bring: Feltable wool fibre in several colours (200 grams total), several wool and non-wool yarns, notepad, pen, scissors, clothes that can get wet or a waterproof apron, and towels.

Materials fee: $10 for resist materials, tape, silks, etc.
