Judy Kavanagh

Judy Kavanagh is a woodworker, dyer, knitter and weaver in Ottawa. She loves to enable spinners and weavers with her hand turned spindles and handmade tapestry and band looms. She dyes fibre with natural and commercial dyes, producing rich, colourful fibre for spinners and felters. Judy also enjoys repairing old spinning wheels and teaching spinning and weaving.

Don Haines

My grandfather built furniture and weaving looms. My mother was a weaver. Keeping with the family tradition, I make whatever there is a demand for. Doffers, nostepinnes, inkle looms, warping boards, weaving benches, stands, and bits and pieces for repairs.
