CavaDelo Flax Garden was established in 2021. We started with a small bed (12 x 12) the first year. The processing tools were replicated by our local Mens Shed. With an array of spinning and weaving equipment, we learned how to spin and weave different fibres over the Winter starting with wool, alpaca and recently silk. But our main goal was to spin and weave flax/linen. We have a much larger flax crop this year and it should be ready for the exhibition to spin.
