NB: Registration for members opens Friday, Nov 3, for non-members Saturday Nov 4 at 12:00pm.

Description: This workshop will introduce students to basic techniques in preparing and using natural dyes on animal fiber. Students will get to use 5 different dyes, including indigo (the others will vary with season/availability), and will go home with enough yarn for a project, and printed course notes to help them reproduce their results at home.

Prerequisite: None

Students should bring: Closed shoes, medium to heavy rubber gloves, wear old clothes or apron. Can bring a small project to work on during possible downtime between baths.

Materials Fee: $25
